Relax, relax, relax

A perfect hotel for relaxing retreat. The first word that comes to mind is tranquility. It is quiet in the rooms, around the pool and at the restaurant during dinnertime. Even the evening shows feature soothing and reserved music, rather than punchy rhythms, that are usually heard on the island. The rooms (we booked a suite with balcony) deserve the highest praise: spacious, freshly renovated, and impeccably clean. The large terraces in suits feature a table, a couple of chairs and two comfy sunbeams and overlook the serene outdoor pool. The lobby of the hotel is very stylish. The personnel is nice and attentive. We booked a stay with half-board and generally found the food selection to be of quite good quality and range. There are three things that became the highlights of our stay in the hotel: 1) the lineup for the shows: wonderful performers, with music suiting the mood of the place (we liked the “Alicia Keys”- inspired performance of Julia Samadhi); 2) the indoor pool - a rarity on the island - which was understandably empty during the sunny days, so we could have it for us only ; 3) the pastries served for dinner - our compliments to the pastry-chef!

There are few things however that need improvement. First, the “non-sweet” buffet was no match for the pastry. The gap needs to be filled, in particular when it comes to the prominence and presentation of the local products. Second, and the most important, the smoking is unfortunately allowed in the outdoor pool area, as well as on the terrace of the bar, where the night shows are taking place. As a result we couldn’t really enjoy any of these facilities. We aren’s sure about the legal framework, but in other hotels on Mallorca we’ve seen that all public areas (incl. outdoors pools and the areas where the food/drinks can be consumed) are completely smoke-free.

The absolutely stunning hotel had a private garden/ courtyard with a beautiful pool.

Absolutely stunning. The only other breakfast I have had at a hotel to rival this was at a Hilton hotel in London.

The only thing that was wrong was the bed in our room. It squeaked very much and was hard and had a bump down the middle.

Exceptional

A peaceful hotel, no loud music and beautifully clean pool and surroundings. All staff were so lovely from when we first arrived - a relaxed check in with a glass of cava - to fabulous food and service in the restaurant. Room towels changed twice a day and prices of drinks very reasonable. We felt very welcomed.

Sa Coma probably wasn't the best location for us.

Very smooth holiday experience.

The staff of the hotel went above and beyond to please the guests. The breakfast and dinner options were immense. (The desserts could improve a bit, in terms of taste instead of variety). Always clean. Very attentive reception desk staff. Crystal water in the pool. Reasonably priced pool bar.

The beds mattresses were really soft, but this could be a matter of personal taste. The dinner hours could be extended, it was 18:30 till 21:30.. I understand it's okay for the NCE customers, but a bit tight for south Europeans that would like to enjoy the sunset.

Breakfest: amaizing buffet. A lot of choices, always fresh and really really good! Restourant es moli: rally good food and super friendly staff! A big thanks to Ricardo: super friendly guy, always on point with food raccomandations, he made our stay (and our espresso ;)) even better!

Great pool, best staff, very good breakfast and dinner.

It is not 5 stars. No bathrobe, no slippers, no shampoo. Bed linen was not changed, not even once in our 8 nights stay, which I think is way too much for a 5 stars hotel.

Fabulous

We love breakfast. The staff knew three languages advanced and they were really kind and helpful.

Water in the pool was cold. Electrical sockets weren't close to the bed.

Absolute fabulous place to stay food was exceptional and staff

food and staff excellent hotel is situated near at the beach and also has bus transfers to Palma or other locations outside hotel which was excellent, no driving

Felt like home

we had an amazing time in the hotel. Personnel was very friendly, location was great and food was amazing.

The rooms could use some renovation, other than that hotel was great.

This does not feel like a 5 star hotel. 4 stars is more appropriate. However staff were very warm and accommodating. Facilities and location good. Breakfast was tasty but needs to be changed a bit every few days to avoid repetition. No soap in rooms was surprising given 5 star rating and towels were old. There needs to be more free items in room such as in mini fridge. Also it would be great for hotel to have beach beds rather than pay the large sum each day of having to rent beach umbrella and sunbed which is not cheap! Hotel organised activities also very limited when compared to 4 star hotel across the road.

The staff were attentive and friendly. Everything was sparkling clean. The beds were the most comfortable I'd ever slept in at a holiday resort.
