We would recommend Bilbao as a destination & property is in a lovely location

Location was excellent . Lovely view from little balcony

Entrance was like a building site . We recognised our accommodation by piles of rubble outside door. Starway was tricky to negotiate as scaffolding & building going on. We had not been pre warned of this. Property would benefit from a standard sized kettle as opposed to a travel size one . Some of crockery chipped - not what we expected.

Entrance hall and staircase not for the faint hearted.

Good location, very central. Great views of the river.

We arrived to major renovation work in the entrance. Stair rails removed and wind up supports propping up the staircase. Using the stairs did not feel safe and are not suitable for a family or those with mobility issues. I would have concerns if you have to evacuate this apartment in a hurry due to fire or an emergency. We had no warning of this. The style of the bathroom using glass panels on the centre of the apartment will not be to everyone’s taste.

Poor apartment design, poor maintenance and unhelpful d taff

Location great.

Very difficult to gain entry when arrived - poor instructions, staff did not respond to buzzer and link to entry device did not work so had to call staff by phone. Door to balcony broken so no access. Call to staff about this, but no solution available until 3 days after our stay ended, despite them being aware of the problem from previous clients. Cursory communication from staff - did not respond to complaint. Trip hazards as different levels of flooring, including in the bathroom, resulting in injury to arm and head of one of our party. Very poor design of apartment with bathroom in the centre - too close to living area. Noise from street into bedrooms at night and early morning, hence need for earplugs (provided). Booking.com rating misleading as most of the problems were not highlighted.
