La ubicación y la amabilidad del personal.
Un poco antiguo,se ve un hotel de lujo, pero un poco desfasado con la actualidad.

La limpieza, la comodidad, la decoración, la ubicación, la bañera hidromasaje, las vistas (se veía la universidad y la catedral) y el personal fue muy cercano.
La cerradura estaba muy trillada y a veces costaba meter la tarjeta, por lo menos en nuestra habitación.

The elegant old school lobby with beautiful classic furniture, lighting and elegant check in counter. It was such a fun location just a short walk to the shops and sites downtown. Easy and courteous valet boy. Elegant restaurant on rooftop with a most welcome slow Spanish style service and food options. I almost didn't book this hotel because the hotel was inexpensive but it is truly a gem.
The swimming pool is too small and has no protection from the sun.

Great location easy to park the motorbike and safe underground. Friendly and helpful staff and welcoming. Room was lovely and in particular the bathroom. Plenty of plug points.
Nice to be able to have a coffee or glass of wine any time. great choice of breakfast.
It shows on booking.com that they have a swimming pool.
When I asked when we stayed there late may. Hot day sunshine it was not available as it was a private function.
Also I asked when it was available the reception said it available when the weather is only good.
Basically don't get to excited about the pool it most likely won't be available when you think it is.

location is perfect, right in the middle of the city
it is quite old fashioned and does not feel like a 5 stars hotel. needs a bit of maintainance. parking is very tight and the drive in is not suitable for a big car

Although it is a drive into the centre of Salamanca, we like the secure underground car park when travelling between the ferry and south coast. It is a short walk through excellent shops to the Plaza Mayor where it all happens in this town.

on the second stay I felt the room housekeeping standard had dropped a little.. however the rest of the hotel was as expected….

Large, clean bedroom. Wonderful breakfast. Had a feel of (slightly faded) opulence.
Great value for money.
Mixed experiences with front of house staff.
On check in had a slight disagreement about facilities in the room. (No kettle). Reception was fairly surly.
On check out, on checking, I realised I had been overcharged. Soon resolved.
Rest of the time, staff were excellent.

Dinner too late & on high floor & we do not like lifts
Garage a nightmare unless you have staff to negotiate the underground labyrinth.
Cocktail bar a little dreary but great G&T.No nice restaurants nearby.
