Excellent location on the lake. Lovely, large rooms and bathrooms. Very helpful staff. The served breakfast was extensive, leisurely and a real treat.

A beautiful property with an excellent location. I arrived via bus from Bad Ischl (nice day visit) and it is very close to the drop off. Took the boat to St. Gilden and bus from there to Saltzburg - perfect! Easy to walk either direction around town and to transportation. Very relaxing and hotel management and staff are very welcoming. I had a wonderful room, felt like an apartment, with an excellent view of the lake and mountains. So restorative after big city visits and lots to see in this town. Fun atmosphere, great for solo travelers!

Location
The guy at the reception has a horrible attitude. He does not know how to talk to guests. His behavior has trickled down to all his staff. Restaurant is under staffed and the servers appear to be disgruntled and going through the motions.
