The wide spread accomodations in a beautiful surrounding. The apartment was nicely decorated, good beds and the presence of wellness, a swimming pool and a restaurant is a big plus. Our house has a veranda and a lot of birds and butterfly's are in the direct area.
The jungle experience was not so jungle at all. It's just 3 km of the city centre of Palenque and the area is cultivated with a lot other touristic facilities. For a real jungle you have to book somewhere else. Also big organized groups can book this hotel, so you can have an invasion of noisy people who aren't interested in relaxation of quietness. The restaurant has few and unexperienced personal - teenagers at dinner time. They did their best, but waiting time was much to long (maximum was almost 1 hour!). The food tasted well, luckely.

Beautiful jungle setting, in exuberant vegetation and exotic flowers. Very nice rooms with air conditioning inside and hammock on the balcony. Lovely swimming pool to cool off too.

The room and the facilities were nice. The bed was comfortable.
The A/C was not working when I arrived. The room was like a sauna. Took a half hour to have the issue resolved.
Difficulty locking the door.
Wifi was very spotty.
Some employees speak a bit of English, but not much.
Charged me an additional 10% over what Booking.com quoted. When I asked the person at the desk was told it was a 10% Mexican tax. I suggested it should be shown on the bill separately. My suggestion was met with silence. I'd like to know why I was charged fees and taxes by Booking.com and extra taxes at the hotel.
