Exceptional

Spacious, quiet but attentive staff

They ran out of food for the dinner buffet due to large number of customers. They ran out of rack to hang wet clothes outside the room

totally devastated!!!

the Good part is the location and the staff were friendly, good and attentive. the worse part is the water sso bad!!!!😡 deep well. we have to buy boxes of mineral water to bathe.

absolutely horrible

staff are amazing

first of all, the price i paid was definitely not worth it. the bathroom was so dirty, lots of broken furnitures, water was so slow to the point you can't take a shower, the creases of the balcony door was full of dust and nasty elements, the AC doesn't work (it was so hot despite the additional almost broken fan they provided) - the mosquitoes were everywhere. there was a makeshift pond/lagoon (or whatever it is) right in front of the rooms entrance, and it really didn't serve a purpose aside from breeding mosquitoes because if you're going to tell me it's for aesthetics then you absolutely failed on that regard. it was dirty and ugly. I also requested to modify the booking to which they approved but didn't bother to minus one day of the reservation (I still had to pay the full amount despite the booking being modified). the breakfast was horrible, the choices were of that you can find at a local eatery (we call it carenderia in our native language) - so if you plan to stay here, don't book a room with breakfast. EVERYTHING CORKAGE - I already mentioned the food was horrible, so of course I want to eat the food I want to enjoy, but this hotel won't allow food that is ordered outside otherwise CORKAGE. They literally charged me for a Starbucks coffee I had ordered through foodpanda (I mean you can't force me to drink your 'in1 coffee) and what exactly do they expect me to do if I get hungry in the middle of the night? go outside and eat my food??? Uhm, i have been all over the world, 5 star hotels to be specific aren't even anal about food that's ordered outside their establishments, in fact the hotel itself will give you recommendations oh they call you IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT just to REMIND YOU of visiting hours. COULDN'T YOU DO IT THE NEXT MORNING? you know, as a sign of respect.

Good place in a great location

Big rooms, aircon and hot hot shower worked well, comfy beds.

The smoking section is really far from the rooms! There's a huge garden with pond in the hotel complex, why not designate a smoking area there as well? The food was.... alright.

A home away from home.

We love our room near the pond. Away from the pool noise, as we are day sleeper, thank goodness. Nice resort for a family, buffet food is average, staff we're quite nice especially Jeff and Rashid at the restaurant and SG Yoson. Definitely recommend this resort to our Australian family and friends. Thank you to Kath at the Front Desk for accommodating us from checking in and out.

Our stay was almost perfect, except we had an issue with shower floor area constantly flooding when you take a bath. Hence, the damage Cabinetry below the vanity. The cable box or the remote was slow to respond when trying to navigate, battery issue perhaps.

Disappointing

The property looks good.

Parents, do NOT trust the lifeguards on duty at the pool! Spent most of the time on their phone. Our 5 year old daughter almost drowned on our first day there. Yes, we were watching her as well. But we were the only ones to react. He just sat on his phone. And when we questioned him and other staff we were told not his responsibility! Then why do you pay for a lifeguard to be there?! No apology offered, nothing. If anything, just tried to blame us. The pool was broken and not heated so it is freezing cold. The food is average at best. All the meat and seafood was so dry. And on occasion there was not many options for my wife and kids as they don't eat pork or crustaceans. Only one staff member was helpful during our whole stay and we would recommend. The others just do the very basic minimum. It took 3 attempts for me to get a simple fresh pineapple juice (which is on their menu), and by the third time when I got a melon juice I just gave up and drank it. Honestly, the place only looks good. Everything else needs improvement.

As long as there is availability, I will always choose the Almont Inland Resort.

This is by far my favorite hotel in Butuan. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is great. I am an adult who actually uses the pool and the slide.

I am not a Filipino, so some of the food is not to my liking.

Housekeeping staff was great.

TV channels are very limited. The shower’s temperature is very challenging to manage, it’s either super cold or very hot - burning hot.

The housekeeping staff was great.

The management is allowing outdoor party past 10 in the evening. People were still singing karaoke at almost midnight! Very inconsiderate for other guests, its very loud which makes it difficult to sleep. Some people have come for peace and you wont get it if you’re unlucky enough to stay during one of those times. Please restrict parties inside your indoor venues or limit outdoor celebrations at 10 o’clock in the evening, if not please have your rooms impervious to loud noises from outside.

it was my first time and probably my last . looking forward to stay in other hotels in butuan

they do not have free toiletries like toothbrush. they do not do room service and the rooms are far from the resto they also do not want to have my free breakfast to go without charge. way tooo expensive for a poor and mediocre service and old rooms

Highly recommended!

Booked the standard double room, got upgraded to the Junior Suite. After arriving for check in we were informed that we got upgraded again for Executive Suite. the room was spacious, perfect for get together with friends and family. All the amenities were more than satisfactory. Staff were super accommodating.
