We had a well appointed ground level apartment. Being on the end of the row it had great daylight and its own private courtyard which was a sun trap in the afternoon (one good aspect of this side of the lake).
It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite, one with washing machine and dryer) which was perfect for me and my two teenage children.
The apartment was generally spacious (the second bedroom was tight with two king singles) and well appointed. The kitchen had microwave, stove, dishwasher, fridge freezer and tea/coffee/milk.
It was perfectly clean and had comfy beds and linen.
Nothing major, it has free underground parking in another building a short walk down the road which didn’t really bother us at all.
It’s location is a little isolated, there is a bar and restaurant at the Hilton, otherwise it’s a drive back to Frankton or Queenstown for dining options. But for us it was perfect heading up to the Remarkables to ski each day, we actually didn’t even go into Queenstown.

Located in a wee little village. Access to bar and cafe. Communication from host. Clean and tidy with lot of space indoor and outdoor. Private and cosy.
The kitchen lighting was far too dim to properly use half the bench, and the shower was broken. The frypan was scratched and peeling, while the cooking utensils and pots were very basic. Heating was limited to a wall panel, and the hot water temperature was low with the supply running out quickly. Several basic maintenance and facility issues need attention
