Living area and fully equipped kitchen facilities are shared. I always found it very clean and hardly saw anyone using it. Some rooms have a shared bathroom. Ours was en-suite.
Upon arrival we had a problem with the hot water but it was taken care of the following morning.
The room has a tiny terrace that opens into a very small and narrow cloister or lightwell of the building and thus not usable.

Great location. Rooms really comfortable and everything was exceptionally clean.
Nothing.

What an amazing location! This place is right above several places that sell great food and is very close to the centre of Barcelona, so it's really well placed. It has good transport links too.
My friend checked into the property as my flight was a little later than theirs. Apparently the woman who checked them in was a little rude - she seemed suspicious that the name on my passport and on my booking didn't match. I understand that everyone has their job to do, but seeing as the booking was for two people, it would be great if that was taken into account :)

Good location for Bracelona.
Noisy guests in other room who decided to have a party. No one to complain to. Made it feel like student accommodation.
