Great spot to break the trip to or from Joburg. Stepping into the past. Bar has an amazing atmosphere.

Pleasant, polite staff, Meal was tasty and thoughtfully presented. Very beautiful garden. Warm, comfortable bed. Nice fire in the main lounge.
Safe off-road parking.
My room. Very Old, chipped furniture, not well maintained.
Bathroom window frames rusted, need paint.
Old, 'past sell by date' towels.
No printed instructions to help operate the TV, just a clump of plugs on a small shelf next to it, with a small hand written note attached to the bottom of the screen. Therefore could not turn on the TV.
'50's, '60's and 70's music pumping through inside and outside speakers all day and evening.
