Angenehmer Aufenthalt & freundliches Personal

Wir waren in der Low season in diesem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und das Personal bemühte sich sehr um uns. Der Pool war schön einzig die Liegen sind in die Jahre gekommen. Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden und die Anlage ist nicht weit vom Strand und Zentrum entfernt.

"My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the blue wave and we had an absolutely wonderful time. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a complimentary welcome drink that set the tone for our stay. The hotel's ambiance was perfect for a romantic getaway. The cozy and well-maintained room, with a beautiful view of garden, made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, from accommodating our requests to offering helpful suggestions for things to do in the area. We enjoyed a delightful meal at the hotel's restaurant, where the food was not only delicious but also served with exceptional care. Overall, our stay at The Blue wave was a memorable and romantic experience. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff for their excellent service and to the hotel for providing a perfect setting for our getaway. We look forward to returning in the future."

Amazing team and service

The service was absolutely superb - so caring and fulfilled every request we had immediately. The staff are really incredible. Great size room and comfy bed, got new drinking water every day, good breakfast. Nice pool to chill out in. Our room was available so they happily let us check in early and check out late according to our flights. Highly recommended!

awesome spot between the two village around, very close to an amazing natural beach fully equipment hotel with a nice swimming pool, Great cocktail ! and the Staff was so helpful to make our activities planning efficiently, with nice hidden tips !

The staff guys were great, every little request is treated quickly. The room is large and spacious. The cleaning is very good.

Weak stream water at the shower. Slow Wi-Fi surfing speed, and an inconvenient need to enter a new password every day.

Very large rooms. Very big and clean swimming pool. Food was very good. Location 2min walk to the beach and right in the main street with all the bars/ restaurants.

Everything was clean but not well maintained. Swimmi´g pool area really needs painting! Noisy hotel (rooms not at all isolated).

Excellent hotel with best staff and power generator

Blue Wave is one of the best hotels on Sri Lanka located on south east coast in Arugam Bay district offering great value for money. I have been here for three times (2016, 2017 and for a last week). My last stay was just great and I really enjoyed it. Location and surroundings: Famous surfers points are nearby, as well as amazing beaches and beautiful nature. If you’re looking for privacy, you can choose from many nice golden beaches around here. Staff: The hotel staffs’ language skills and quality of offered services have been improved since my last visit significantly. For instance, you are never going to wait too long for a drink while at the pool. Nothing is an issue at all. Hotel staff🧑🏽👩🏽 is extremely friendly and helpful. They will arrange anything you ask for - sometimes even without asking - for a great price, like transportation🚗, trips and even formal injuries like visas etc. Because of having issue with our credit card and car rental, we were given a late checkout time for free (8pm!) and the staff even arranged a transfer for us for a very good price - without asking to do so! ❣️ Rooms: The rooms are perfectly clean and very well maintained, with a large and comfortable bed🛏, powerful air conditioning unit and fan, flat TV📺 and very spacious table. The biggest advantage for me is a fact that the room is completely insect🦟free - cockroaches🪳 and other nasty things just stay outside 🙂 Hotel facilities etc.: From early mornings, you can hear the birds🦜 singing from early mornings and watch monkeys🐒 jumping over the trees in a nice hotel’s garden. Definitely do not miss breathtaking sunrise🌅 from the hotel’s roof - it is freely accessible and offers a splendid view of hotel’s surroundings. It has a large and clean pool and even a fitness room🏋️‍♂️.

There was simply nothing I did not like. And I am quite spoiled guest 🤓 Despite my frequent screaming on my poor boyfriend- it was quite hearable - the staff stayed cool and calm 🙃 However, check out the current situation before coming to Sri Lanka (the fuel thing). We decided to complete our 3 months stay so we can support the country and great people here as much as we can - even for a cost of some hours without electricity.

Best pool in Arugam Bay!

The best pool in Arugam Bay! The staff was excellent and helpful. The hotel has large, breezy hallways through well-maintained gardens. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a balcony. I enjoyed my stay at the Blue Wave immensely.
