An absolutely beautiful stay at Anantara Kalutara Resort. The setting is truly special, surrounded by nature with stunning views of the lake and ocean. You can hear the birds singing alongside the sound of the waves, creating a peaceful atmosphere where you can genuinely disconnect and enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka’s nature.
The rooms were excellent—beautifully designed, comfortable, and equipped with high-quality amenities. The resort itself blends perfectly into its natural surroundings and offers a wonderful sense of space and tranquility.
The breakfast buffet was another highlight. The staff and the head chef gave us exceptional attention and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted. The hospitality was genuinely outstanding.
A special mention to Suranga for an amazing massage, which was one of the highlights of our stay.
.Overall, Anantara Kalutara is a wonderful place for anyone looking for nature, tranquility, beautiful rooms, excellent service, and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. Hearing the birds and ocean together while surrounded by nature is an experience in itself
The Italian restaurant was very good, although I found it a little expensive compared with the overall dining experience

It’s a beautiful property and staff are extremely friendly. The pool and views are stunning.
Spice traders restaurant was exceptional on the property.
Our first room was really run down and didn’t feel clean. We asked to be moved and we were moved extremely far from main property however the room was much nicer. They were accommodating.
Overall I just found it overpriced, the buffet which didn’t include drinks was 17k rupees per person and it was extremely average.
Property is 5* rating, but it didn’t feel like it. It lacked the LUXURY feel that Anantara usually has.
Would recommend PEACE HAVEN Anantara over this property.
