Our stay was lovely in a very historic hotel. No lift so large stone steps to dining rooms & bedrooms. Maybe consideration if difficulty with stairs & luggage. Was ok for us as able to climb stairs. Staff very pleasant & provided us with a kettle so could have our own drinks. Lovely evening meal but reservation needed as was very busy on Saturday night we were there.

Great location, close to restaurants, historic significance in town. The food was good and the breakfast buffet ample.
Too many stairs to get to the rooms on the third floor. Quite a challenge to carry luggage up.

Good
It is no fault of the hotel that church bells ring on the hour and half hour every night. When we asked for a quieter room the staff were very kind and helpful moving us to the annexe where the only sound was the river.
