Wonderful environment, perfect location for hiking and riding the scenic train and bus around the area
Very helpful host who was happy to offer local advice
Continental breakfast was sustaining and locally sourced. Attentive staff.
Gift of a local cheese on departure was a nice touch (and a nice cheese it was too!)
We found the nature of the guesthouse a bit too claustrophobic for our tastes. This isn't really the fault of the property at all but just that it simply wasn't quite what we expected.

It is clear that the owners have put their heart in the Albergo. The location is fantastic, right at the Bernina railway with trainings stoppen in front. The free train card (valid from Alp Grüm to Tirano) is also very practical. Hiking to Lake Palü is very nice and amazing butterflies like the Apollo can be found nearby.
The rooms are a bit noisy (thin walls), but it didn't bother me.
