Die traumhafte Lage direkt am Rosskopf, "hoch über den Wolken ohne Flugzeug", hat natürlich alles überlagert. Da gab es Panoramen und Sonnenlichteffekte, die sich nicht beschreiben lassen. Gute Wanderwege, auch für Normalos. Mindestens 5 Almen mit kleiner bis mittlerer Gastronomie sind über Tagestouren relativ bequem, auch für Rentner zu erreichen - wenn man gutes Wanderschuhwerk trägt. Wenn nicht, bleibt immer noch die Seilbahnfahrt runter nach Sterzing und bis 17:00 wieder hinauf. Die Küche im Hotel ist sowohl gut bürgerlich als auch italienisch - angereichert durch regionale Schmankerl, wie selbst gemachten Graukäse, Knödel, Zirbelkiefer- und Schafgarbengeist, Vielen Dank an die Inhaberfamilie nebst Personal für die wunderbare alpine Sommerurlaubswoche!
Die knapp halbstündige Schleichfahrt auf der Forststraße hoch zum Hotel ist schon ziemlich anspruchsvoll und spannend. "Hochbeiner" sind ob der Schlag- und anderen Löcher klar im Vorteil. Da sollte man vorher doch noch mal sein Auto-Handbuch hervorholen und die Ratschläge zur Bergauf - und Hinunterfahrt besonders gut studieren...

Il panorama è stupendo, partono tanti sentieri ed è silenzioso. La sera si possono ammirare le stelle e il massimo del rumore sono i campanacci delle mucche in lontananza. Il ristorante ha un look rustico, da rifugio di montagna ed il cibo è molto buono! La colazione al mattino è abbastanza varia, magari qualche marmellata del posto sarebbe più gradita. Ci hanno dato una stanza delle nuove ed era grande e molto pulita.
Mancano phon e campioncini in bagno, per fortuna nel dubbio avevamo tutto con noi. La strada è fattibile, è un sentiero di montagna che sicuramente è più facile con auto alta, ma si può fare lo stesso. Manca qualche cartello per rendersi conto della distanza.

La struttura è in una posizione molto bella, lo staff gentile e il cibo buono. Si deve tener conto che per arrivare c’è la strada forestale di circa 8km e si impiega circa 25 minuti per salire con la calma necessaria per la strada. Lo staff gentile e le stanze della parte più vecchia sono pulite e con un bell’affaccio sulla vallata. Colazione internazionale con latte, caffè, thé, succhi, yogurt,krapfen, fette biscottate, pane, marmellate, formaggio ed affettati. Possibilità di cenare alla carta o con menù da 25 euro fissi. Possibilità di richiedere phon all’occorrenza
Abbiamo dovuto richiedere di assegnarci la corretta stanza visto che non avevano tenuto conto della richiesta del balcone ma ci avevano dato una stanza con solo finestra e affaccio sul retro, pagando lo stesso prezzo. Non presente cassaforte né Wi-Fi nelle stanze della parte vecchia ma solo nella sala comune dove si mangia. I balconi sono comunicanti con le altre stanze, quindi non si ha molta privacy.
