A lovely hotel with excellent bike storage room, which was just what we needed for our cycling trip.
The pool was a lovely addition, which although has closed by the time we arrived, it opened again at 7am, so we were able to use it in the morning before breakfast.
Unfortunately the sauna are only opened between 3 - 7pm, so we missed that altogether during our 1 short nights stay, but from what we saw, it looked great.
Breakfast was plentiful, with loads of choice from breads, fruits, preserves, meat, cheese, eggs and so much more.
The bed was comfortable, although the shower room without a door was an interesting design, but still great.
The evening bar was rather quiet without much atmosphere, but we only went for a 1 drink. We didn't get to try the restaurant, as that too had stopped serving by 8pm when we arrived.
For us the whole experience and location was great; a spot of luxury and much needed rest after a sweaty day in the saddle. 🚴♀️
For us, if the restaurant, pool and sauna had been opened a bit later, say until 10pm, that would have been super. But that's just what would have suited us.

We love everything about this hotel. Room, location, view, parking, superb breakfast but the staff are what makes this hotel so special. They go above and beyond. It is the best hotel we have stayed in over three trips around the north of Italy and south Germany.

The construction material with wood, feels very zen. Staff was great, welcoming us late and having some beautiful dinner prepared although kitchen on edge to close
