The location was good, with plenty of points of interest to visit that can be explored on foot or by car for areas further away. Both Lisa and Paddy were very knowledgeable, sharing recommendations on where to visit and eat in the area, in particular Amlwch. Both hosts were attentive, offering a selection of continental breakfasts including homemade warm bread with an assortment of preserves. Towels were changed daily during our stay; the room was a good size and had a view overlooking the garden, mountains, and cattle amidst the vast farmlands in the area. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
The ensuite was a little snug, including the shower. But otherwise we made it work.

Lisa and Paddy made myself and my daughter feel very welcome and at home. The bedroom was lovely and spacious. We loved the dogs, especially since they shared the same names as our late dogs! They both came to say hello each morning - my daughter was very taken with them both.
Breakfast was good, with freshly baked bread every morning and a selection of jams - I loved the homemade ones. My daughter loved the caramel yogurts!
We would definitely stay at The Old Rectory again.
