We had a lovely stay at the Sportsmans Lodge. The room was lovely, plenty of space, clean, comfortable beds and a lovely large bathroom with a bath and a shower. The hosts were brilliant, we arrived later than anticipated, but they were so lovely and still took the time to show us around, explain everything and make us fresh coffee! The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and they catered for different diets very well. There was fresh milk in our room every day and when they found out that I didn't drink hot drinks they also left me a bottle of water. The mini fridge in the room was handy for keeping drinks in. The hosts were very helpful and gave us plenty of information about the local area and great places to visit while we were there, there were even guide books and maps you could borrow during your stay. This is a gem of a place, the sort that you want to keep to yourself but you know you really shouldn't because its so good.

Friendly owners. Peaceful setting. Lovely breakfast. Good location for Holyhead.
Cold hard tiled floor in room. Uncomfy bed.
