We were able to arrive at 1am (off the ferry) as it is a self-service check-in with easy to follow instructions using a key safe.
Generously stocked tea/coffee/biscuits/bottled water. There was a large plug-in fan, bedside lamps. Thought had definitely been put in by the owner.
Pleased it was a ground floor room.
Never saw the owner or staff but there was a phone number and good communications on booking.com.
There wasn't any shower gel but no other issues.

Exceeded our expectations and very close to ferry terminal.
