All staff were very pleasant and helpful, NO Irish employees.....to be seen
Staff were multi tasking from breakfast duty to checking out, or checking in clients and also serving dinners etc......the hotel seems to be very understaffed
I did try to contact the hotel a few days before we arrived.......to confirm our booking......Spoke to Joy and a Patricia but no accsess to reservations..
I did ask a staff member, but they said head office was in Limerick
I had understood it was a family run hotel, but no family members to be seen...
As above.......
Very well situated for visiting The Burren etc, but little else in Ballyvaughan, but maybe summer months are better
Continental breakfast selection poor, no selection of cheeses or cold meats

In old part of hotel , furniture a bit battered for antiques. Carpet worn.

good location and not as bad as some of the reviews would have you think, our room was nice.
as i was leaving early the morning after our stay one of the staff parked her car in such a way as i was completely blocked in and could not leave, by pure luck i was looking out the window at 6.30am and saw it happening so ran down to the car park to stop herand get them to move her car. the lady was very put out and just shrugged and said he couldn't see what the problem was, someone would have figured out who's car it was, she was incredibly rude.
