Das Elements Beach & Nature Resort ist ein wunderbarer Ort um komplett zu entschleunigen und zu entspannen. Die Beach-Villa & auch die Lagunen-Villa sind super schön gestaltet und der Blick aufs Meer bzw. auf die Lagune ist großartig.
Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich bemüht, super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wenn die Kinder beim abendlichen Buffett nichts finden konnten, wurde schnell noch etwas extra gezaubert- wirklich toll.
Wir und vor allem auch unsere Kinder (8 & 10) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Der Pool ist herrlich und hat eine angenehme Länge zum Schwimmen. Die Kinder haben die vielen Tiere wie Katzen, Hunde und Esel geliebt.
Ganz besonders schön war der Bootsausflug zu den Delphinen.
Was uns persönlich ein bisschen gefehlt hat, war das abendliche Schlendern am Strand von Resort zu Resort um mal hier oder da etwas essen gehen zu können. Aber das ist nun mal der Alleinlage geschuldet.

Imagine you come to visit your close friends who make their best to make your stay exceptional. This is how we were treated. You feel home and amongst friends with a similar vibe, who get attracted there.
The place is secluded, right between the vast sandy beach which was good for swimming and a beautiful lagoon to enjoy a SUP trip.
The food was irresistably good and the restaurant staff is fantastic!
Cabanas are small, but serve its purpose.
If you go winter, make sure you go to watch dolphins - within a relatively short boat trip you find yourself among hundreds of these cutest creatures!
I could continue sharing my experiences, but to sum up i was leaving with tears in my eyes. This is how much i loved it here!

De villa met zeezicht staat vergenoeg van andere villa's zodat je genoeg privacy hebt. Er is geen airco, alleen 'natuurlijke' airco door de luchtgaten en openingen in dak. Het bleef alsnog wel warm in de kamer. We hadden 3 keer een kakkerlak in de kamer, maar dat hoort daar 'bij de natuur'. Buiten heb je een royale zitplaats waar je lekker kan relaxen. Er zijn wel heel erg veel vliegen, die hier zijn door de kippenboerderij en andere boerderijen in de buurt. (Dat is wat Samith de manager ons vertelde) Veel vliegen zijn er dus het hele jaar. Om 5.00 uur in de ochtend hoor je de moskee van de buurtgemeenschap. Wij waren er met de kerst en op kerstavond was er een BBQ. Rest van de dagen vonden wij het eten oke, maar niet heel bijzonder. Dat is ieders eigen smaak uiteraard. De locatie ligt vrij afgelegen en voor het regelen van eigen vervoer komt er geen Uber of Pickme. De manager kan iets voor je regelen, maar daar staat een vrij hoge prijs tegenover omdat ze een local vragen (prima, ook eigen keus)
Wij vonden de prijs die we per nacht betaalde best pittig, komt ook nog 10% tax bij (ook bij restaurantrekening, maar dat staat erbij vermeld). De echte eigenaars van dit resort zijn erg vriendelijk en correct. Daar kregen wij een beter gevoel bij als bij de manager. Het personeel in het restaurant is super! Heel vriendelijk en gezellig en ook recht uit hun hart heel betrokken.
Heel erg veel vliegen. Om 5.00 uur in de ochtend de moskee!

-All staff are so nice and welcoming. Service is topnotch.
Location is away from everything which is great opportunity to disconnect.
-Food is awesome, we were welcomed by a fresh tuna bbq night.
-Pool to relax and restaurant is along the beach with awesome view.
-Organized tours, we saw here the most incredible hundreds of dolphins during an excursion.
-Kite surfing classes and tours.
-Hut is perfect, with all the basics you need.
-Wifi is good enough for working and calls.
-Maybe the mosquitos, although they provide mosquito net and coil repellant.
-Less variety of food.

Amazing location. Such friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us. Well organised. We arrived really late but had no problems checking in. Organised our dolphin boat safari in the morning at short notice. Lovely breakfast.

Great hotel. Lovely clean rooms in an eco-friendly format. The room has everything you need: towels, gel, shampoo, soap, tea accessories, refrigerator. There is a ceiling fan and additional portable ones, which turned out to be very convenient. On the territory there are horses, donkeys, a beautiful white buffalo. You can take a ride on horseback. The staff is very attentive, friendly. The chef cooks great. We took breakfast and dinner, were satisfied with the variety. The beach is clean, the waves are not big, the entrance to the water is even without drops. There is a swimming pool. We'll be back for sure.

Perfect retreat set right on the lagoon and perfect location for kiting and kite surfing. The elements team have made this place beautiful. They are passionate about appearances and making their guests feel at home. The place is kept extremely tidy, all the food is freshly cooked on site using fresh produce mostly from their garden. Its a real eco village. Staff are lovely and cant do enough to help. Kiting location is superb with the sea or the lagoon to practice and improve skills. They have a pro kite school on site with great instructors. Brilliant stay..

it is located on a large piece of land (20acres) so the villas are spaced nicely. A place to relax and recharge. kiting is right in front. everything works well and there is an attention to detail.
The Cabana and Villa designs are stunning.

I don't even know where to start... I really don't have the words for the wonderful days we had here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the wonderful team that made this stay the most wonderful for us! They are all such warm people! The concept of the hotel regarding sustainability and support of local projects also convinced me.
We had the beach villa, with direct sea view was insane, mega view and a great experience.
The food was also a 10/10 (at least :D), every day the most delicious dishes are prepared with much love.
The range of activities that have been offered here is so varied. From kiting (here is a real kiter paradise) to canoeing stand up paddling and and, there is something for everyone! The nature there is just spectacular, through the lagoon and the beach you have a variety of different things you can do, relax, adventure, sports and culture! So there is something for everyone.
I would always come back to Elements and can only heartily recommend everyone to do so!!!
Regarding the current situation, I wanted to mention that we never felt uncomfortable or unsafe at any time... on the contrary, we didn't notice anything and the people are just so friendly and helpful that I sometimes had tears in my eyes. We got from A to B easily and you get support everywhere here. We are so glad that we traveled to Sri Lanka and not be deterred by all the negative news . The people here are really so grateful and happy when people come, they live now once mainly from tourism and depend on it, it is so important. So please do not be afraid or doubt, come here and I promise you will not regret it.

The accommodations are really cool and the outside shower was a blessing. We booked two extra nights and stayed at multiple accommodations. Especially the beach villa is spectaculair, but the bungalows are also nice. The beach is quiet. Sammith and Suranjan were extremely friendly and helpful. We also loved the food. They have really great classic Sri Lankan food aswel as some International dishes like falafel. We can recommend the candlelight diner at the beach. The wifi on the whole terrain is also good.

Everything. Great staff and owners. Amazing food (even the wine was good). Loved the way it's laid out with so much space and nature. Loved the bike and paddle board hire. Loved how peaceful it was. Loved the beach.
The only thing I didn't love was that the furniture was a little 80s in the rooms. Feels like an update would make all the difference in the room. But the resort was beautiful and I wasn't in my room a lot. Bed was super comfortable.

- hammocks near the beach would be a simple and great addition

One of the most chilled out and relaxing experiences in Sri Lanka. The staff to the location made it an incredible stay. The resort is greatly geared towards Kite Surfing and foreign travellers. As a local tourist you might want to know what you're getting before commiting as the restaurant etc. often serves authentic Sri Lankan cuisine which might make you feel like it's not value for money.
Wish there was a better selection of international food items available for the local tourists and a local guest rate for activities as the Euro rate might be a bit too expensive at times. However, it was an amazing experience and would definitely go back, but some local tourists might not feel the same way.
