Den wilden Eseln auf der Spur

Das Chalet ist ausreichend groß und hat mit Freiluftdusche und kleiner Veranda einen besonderen Charme. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und außerordentlich hilfsbereit. Der Kochkurs bietet besondere Einblicke in ein Teil der Kultur auf Sri Lanka.

Amaizing place, great people and good vibes

I came with the family, the owner did everything to make us feel comfortable and good, however not pushy. We loved our house, kids didn’t want to leave. No wonder, food was simply amazing, they adopted all to kids as they don’t eat spicy. Another plus is the organic vegetable garden. Everyone was so friendly. As staff had time they played cricket with my kids and on one occasion really quickly arranged doctors visit. I can not recommend them enough!

expect the unexpected

Good spot near the beach and lagoon. Friendly and helpful Staff. The food was exceptional, the Room very cozy and comfortable. They will always help if you need something. We had the chance to see and swim in bioluminescence water in the lagoon. it was magical. Thankyou for everything

Bad experience

It was nice once and it still looks nice in places. The cabins look cool

Almost no staff, no drinks available except beer and water, they have an a-la-carte-menu but for dinner you can only have what they serve you. One night it was noodles with a small grilled crab, almost no meat on them. Pool is a walk away, across the road, sits out in the sun with no pump/filter, didn't look very clean. Booked a dolphin watching trip but a lot went wrong there. Close to the road and a mosque, traffic and prayers start at 5. We left two nights early.

Great place to arrive in Sri Lanka, to wind down and find peace.

Wonderful resort, very cozy and naturally kept, a lot of love on the details, the most comfortable beds I’ve encountered, delicious fresh food, absolutely amazing hosts - specially Diliip, who takes very good care of his guests in all ways imaginable. I had a blast. Thank you.

Join the Wind Blend Family not only for kitesurfing, also for a quiet - lovely stay

Bungalows and also the garden around are really made with love. The stuff was amazing. They keep on smiling and helping everywhere :) it felt like family 🤍 And also the people of the village were friendly, nice and respectful.

Great stay in quiet lush location

We have chosen this resort to stay for a quarantine week. And it was a perfect solution! The overall experience really exceed our expectations. Sudath, Dilip and the whole team made us really feel at home. We stayed with 2 years old baby, and guys always met our needs like special food for our daughter, arranged all the transportation we needed etc. They are the most hospitable and heartwarming people. The place itself is super quiet and relaxing, food is awesome, location is green and chill. Cabanas are spacious and well equipped. I'd 100% recommend!!!

The pool unfortunately didn't look like being suitable for swimming when we stayed.

Perfect

This hotel made me to feel staying in Sri Lanka forever. Bio environment was so exceptional and natural, bungalows made me feel so tropical and part of the nature. Rooms are clean and quite good in size. Team? ahhh what can i say? they are so special, so lovely and friendly. I would love to go there as they became out friends ❤️ food is typical Sri Lankan and so delicious

Excellent hospitality

I stayed in wind blend kite resort kalpitiya for my quarantine period of 14 days as I was a traveller from india . I am really thankful to the hotel owner. None of the hotels was accepting my booking we tried for more than 10 hotels but because the situation was very hard of covid-19 in India that time . I really feel he took a risk because he faced difficult too , as my all report of RTPCR was negative.he is really a kind person.He also helped me for the further process.his manager mr.dilip was great in serving hospitality as I can't step out of the room & hotel.

If this is quarantine - who needs freedom?

I came to Wind Blend Kite Resort at the beginning of April 2021 as part of my mandatory 2 week quarantine period. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. From the moment I was received at the airport by Siffran, the charming resort driver, to the moment I departed, the whole experience was exceptional. The owner, Sudat, was often around, making sure everything ran smoothly, and Dillip, the resort manager, gave us all exemplary service. The food was delicious and made to cater to our individual tastes by the house chef. The cabanas were very comfortable and the outside shower a total delight (trust me!). A constantly cool swimming pool was the perfect place to cool down when the heat of the midday sun gets a little intense. We were present for the Singhalese New Year and fun games and activities were organised for us. They even organised special tours to local attractions and wildlife parks in line with Covid regulations. Kite surfing was enjoyed by many of the guests but having a broken wrist meant I had to pass on that. All in all, it’s one of the best experiences I’ve had and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful tropical getaway. Thank you all so much. I will return

We spent our mandatory 14 days level 1 hotel quarantine at wind blend kites resort and we loved it. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. We really hope we can come back one day. Thanks for the amazing stay!
