Für „Kiter“ sicher eine tolle Lage, aber vermutlich zu teuer.

Sehr schönes Resort direkt an der Lagune, Personal freundlich, allerdings konnte man sich mit Ausnahme des Managers mit fast niemandem in englisch unterhalten.

Die Küche war leider sehr schlecht, Frühstück bis Dinner war fast nicht geniessbar. Wir waren auch während 5 Nächten die einzigen Gäste mit Ausnahme der Familie des Managers.

Неплохо, но недолго

Надо понимать, что отель хоть и расположен на первой линии, но купаться на пляже нельзя, так как это берег лагуны и там грязно. Купаться надо ездить на лодке 5 минут. Отвозят и забирают без проблем, но пляж совсем не оборудован: ни туалета, ни тени, ни душа. Зато и людей нет. Кальпития вообще не туристическое место. Это место для кайтеров.

Номера уставшие, кондиционер не работал. Кроме главного администратора, персонал вообще не говорит по-английски, проблема даже заказать яичницу. Завтрак очень скудный.

5 star service and can recommend to any one to stay

The location and the arrangement is fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager there Jessi make sure your stay there is very comfortable and he personally attended to the needs of the customers. The food there was also delicious.

Only stayed for half a day/overnight but felt really relaxed.

Great and friendly staff, nice rooms and a beautiful property.

The pricing of food & drinks is a little high by Sri-Lankan standard as there’s really no alternatives around. Food was delicious though!

Really stylish and idyllic

An incredibly stylish and beautiful hotel. I was looking for a calm place and this was a perfect match. However, you can socialize if you want. Jessie, the manager, is doing his job with a strong sense of responsibility, Ansalees and other employees are highly professional and kind. Hotel boat can take you to the beach. The place is very popular for kitesurfers and the beach was very windy during my stay, but you can relax perfectly at the hotel pool. The atmosphere there is idyllic. Food was really tasty.

Very good

Exceptional staff and manager made our stay a pleasure. Would always come back.

The roads leading up to the hotel need immediate attention. Fortunately, we were in SUV to wade through the waters. The open toilets/ bath doesn't go well with most of guests

Amazing

Exceptional

We had a great time…. The place is just amazing.. We wanted to spend a few days to have a rest before another exploring of Sri Lanka… You have to take a boat (5 min) to get to the beach - very good spot for kiting…. We travel with our 8 years old son, so spent couple nice days at the beach. Room was spacious and clean… our special thanks is to Ansalis and Madushan who took an extraordinary care of us and made our stay unforgettable. Bur the whole staff was very friendly and helpful with anything…. THANK YOU 😃

Loved the staff and the service

Loved that the staff was always trying to make us comfortable Offered their favorite foods and cooked as many banana pancakes as the kids wanted for breakfast Made suggestions of delicious things to try They were helpful in taking us to the kitesurfing spot and once took us back as we had forgotten items there

Rooms look good but our mosquito net had holes and we got bitten almost every night Sand as floor in the bathroom looks good but isn’t ideal as we would take a lot of it inside the room Cockroaches - i understand it’s tropical climate and there is a well maintained garden but still I don’t like them

Just PERFECT!!!

Just about everything! The place was paradise on earth, so much better than what we had expected! Pradeep was exceptional together with all other staff and chef Prasad. Everyone took the service to another level! Upon our arrival we got a free upgrade so that we had a wonderful 2-room villa! We got all the help we needed with our kite equipment , great support with transport and they even entertained our 4yo son without us asking them to 🥰 The food was amazing! Thank you for making our vacation memorable!!!

It was great except for the price of the food and transport

it was a beautiful room in a beautiful location.

The food was crazy expensive. Probably 5 times the usual price in Sri Lanka and it wasn’t amazing. Likewise, transportation was probably 10 times the normal price. I paid 1000 rupees for a 5 minute tuk tuk.

Exceptional service and value for money

Staff was super friendly and the benefits offered to the package is exceptional. As wel felt their focus was providing an exceptional service to their guests rather than income generation.

Exceptional

We loved our stay at Kielantis. The manager and his team did an incredible job looking after us. The service was spot on. The 3 bedroom villa had incredible views out over the lagoon from the upstairs balcony. Extensive menu. Kayaks can be borrowed for a kayak round the mangroves, badminton, games and more. A short few minutes by boat to reach the beach for launching the windfoil. So much more to do in the area including diving and horseriding.

Remote, relaxing and idyllic with awesome food

Pleasant rustic pool and restaurant area. Spacious bungalows with indoor and outdoor bathrooms. Idyllic setting by lagoon underneath the palms with wonderful sunsets. Food excellent: the best I had in Sri Lanka. Highlights included fresh tuna cooked medium rare to perfection and the most tasty cuttlefish curry imaginable. We had a boat trip direct from the resort to go dolphin spotting and snorkelling which was great fun and all organised by Kitelantis. I enjoyed bird watching in the local mangroves and on the lagoon.

I didn’t really have a problem with it but the local critters can invade the bungalows quite easily via the window holes between indoor and outdoor bathrooms. The decking round the pool needs a little bit of love and repair plus the slightly leaky restaurant roof.

Quiet resort perfect for relaxing away from the mass in kitesurfing off-season

The staff was exceptional in doing everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Special shout out to the manager, who eventually was able to fulfill all our requests - and to the chef who prepared delicious meals for everyone, from kids to seniors. Even though the property itself doesn't have a beach front, the manager arranged a 10 minute boat ride to the beach for free - which was quite the experience!

The houses (big villa and Bungalow) lacked comfortable seating. Also at the bar/restaurant comfortable seating was scarce / unavailable. Some of the ACs and fans didn't work, however again the staff did everything they could to make it as comfortable for us as possible by providing portable fans.

Excellent and relaxing.

We had a great time. Staff including the Manager was very friendly and was always there to help. The Chef was delicious. All of them make a great team.

The approach road to the hotel is not in a good shape.

Great place for kiting and rest

Staff was very helpful and attentive. All of our wishes and needs were attended and fulfilled very fast. Foods were tasty - the chef even cooked special meals for us off the menu. I really liked the fact that going to the kiting spot is really quick, took literally 5 mins with a boat.

Some mosquitos on the site, i guess you can't completely escape those.

Relaxing hideaway with cool atmosphere

Awesome location, well kept garden, common area and great service. caring manager and bar-/kitchen staff. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Requests were quickly taken care of. Plenty of activities on additional charge (don’t go to the Willpatu Nationalpark, not worth the 150$)

Room and bathroom were not cleaned properly (simple things like a lot of hair in shower and sink, spider-webs in closets)

Cleanliness. Place was dirty. Rooms were not cleaned. Staff was horrible. Food was bad and not clean. Badly maintained place.

The staff was super friendly, loved the outdoor bathrooms and the delicious food. The check in was very flexible and everybody is super accommodating. The location is beautiful und relaxing with very cute dogs running around Thank you to the cook and the whole staff!!

great place, staf needs training

nice location, very good vibe, nice staf and nice rooms

they are struggling with new staf. it doesn’t run smooth, that’s why food is too late and rooms aren’t cleaned properly. this was annoying with our 2 little kids

The location and ambience of the place was quite nice. The pool, pier and kayaking were lovely add ons to the venue. It is situated in close proximity to the dolphin watching and snorkelling activity sites and there is a boat service to take you to the beach as well if you want to use it. They've ample parking space. Friendly staff.

The rooms could have been cleaner. The staff was not fully ready for our arrival so the cleaning had been done in a hurry. The rooms didn't have duvets or a blanket. The Air conditioning needed to be fixed as it was not working properly. The food was a little overpriced for what we got.

It’s location on the lagoon is beautiful. loved the pool, the swings in the communal area and yoga deck. we had great fun on the kayaks and fishing trips. the staff tried very hard to make everything very comfortable for us. Thankyou

Must have Experience with Lots of Activities 😍😍

One of the Best Attraction with Clean, Calm and Safe Environment with Superb Lagoon view. Staff was very Friendly. There are lots of activities to do such as Kayaking, Boat Rides, Kite Surfing during the stay. No need to worry about the temperature, because whole area is covered with Trees. Pool View at the Night time is stunning. There's a platform in the lagoon and the view is so amazing with high winds. Highly Recommend this Place and must visit place to get this experience during your visit and Vacation.

Food Taste was Better than average. Dinner and Lunch Price was bit high if the mentioned prices are per person. There was a small issue with reservation which was quickly resolved by the staff super perfect.
