We stayed for a week in September 2026. Just me and the wife in the Deluxe Junior Suite. The apartment is right on the harbour front with stunning views of the harbour. It's on the first floor up about 25 steps round the side. Comfy, fairly firm bed, TV, kitchen/dining area with 2 rings, kettle and fridge. Bathroom with 4 height shower sprays. It's all very modern and immaculately clean with the cleaner cleaning the rooms and changing the bed and towels every other day. They provide beach towels if you need them. You can sit on the balcony and let the world go by. It goes round 2 sides of the apartment and gets the sun in the afternoon. The lady on reception is very pleasant and helpful giving advice and booking taxis for us. We left our cases on leaving day and was given a key to pick them up. The old town and harbour area are stunning with so many excellent restaurants, bars and clubs from which there was some noise at night. The shutters and double glazed windows & doors helped though. The WiFi is fine for browsing.
We walked to Nea Chora beach 3 times. It's about a 20 minute walk and it's a nice sandy beach with lots of bars and restaurants. Sunbeds were €20. The beach gets wider the further you walk so is less cramped. We got the bus to Kalyves twice. Really easy 10 minute walk to the bus station and €11 return for the 2 of us. Kalyves is lovely with a long sandy beach with big waves and a breeze. Sunbeds vary from €20 to nothing. We paid €8 at the Avra supermarket as they were less cramped.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and was a great location in Chania harbor. The sunset every evening was so stunning, the host was nice but only saw her on check in day.
The BIGGEST problem with my stay was the constant noise around the hotel. Every single night club music played until 3 am, every single night until 330 loud screaming, singing and laughing right under us for 5 days straight. It was almost impossible to sleep well and we are not light sleepers. Also the room was very warm, never truly cooled off and the bed was firm. I was stunned based off the reviews, couldn’t believe that this hasn’t been mentioned before. If you are Partiers nightly you are in the right place but my husband and I were not looking for that. Truly a beautiful hotel but need to work on noise control.
