The bathroom, the AC, the Property manager.
Very nice facilities, rooftop, hammocks, public spaces, little gym.

La Casa de Mi Sub is an overall decent place to stay, especially considering the general conditions and prices on the island. The owner is extremely friendly, understanding, and helpful, which made the experience much more comfortable.
The room itself was fine for a couple of nights of rest, though it did have a few small issues. There wasn’t a place to hang towels in the bathroom, and the showerhead was leaking, which could be improved. The property is in good condition overall, but it’s located farther from downtown than I expected, so keep that in mind if you plan to move around frequently.
In summary, it’s a good option for a short stay, with very kind hosts, but with a few details that could be improved for added convenience.

The man who owns the property is amazing and wonderful to chat with (as long as you can chat in Spanish!). He helped us get a guide around the island and was always available at literally all hours of the day for advice. Air conditioning ran cold and kept us very comfortable.
Our room had very little privacy and we could hear everything from the neighboring room. The bathroom has a steep ramp with wooden blocks to help you avoid slipping, which are hard to use on bare feet. We thought the property had no Wi-Fi but eventually realized it just didn't reach our room. The property is also a little further from town than a lot of other places to stay.
