We had such a lovely stay in Lucca. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The old building converted into four rooms on the second floor is full of charm and character. The location is perfect — about 15 minutes walking distance both to the train station and to the city walls.
Riccardo was incredibly welcoming and kind. Since we had luggage, he kindly called a taxi for us to get to the train station, which we really appreciated. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was renovated, modern, and spotless.
We honestly have no complaints, only a couple of suggestions that could elevate the experience even more. A mirror in the room would be very useful for doing makeup, and having a trash bin inside the room would also be appreciated. Additionally, a larger trash bin in the common area would help, as the current bins tend to overflow quickly.

Comfortable stay in Lucca. Easy walk to station and walled city. Shared kitchen facilities and basic breakfast provided. Nice recommendations for restaurants ( Leo's just down the road was great) Easy check in and responded quickly to any questions we had. 2 Flights of stairs to the room.

Comfy beds. Really nice staff. Free Parking.
Wi-Fi not working.
The window stool above our head was really really dirty, 1 cm of dust.
Toilets were not clean, in a brown color.
Kitchen area is not a kitchen, beware.
If you can't use the AC, you can't sleep due to noise.
