This was my 3rd stay at Hotel Diana. I love it so much. The location is quieter than the more touristy areas and yet so close to everything you need. Cafes, restaurants, a self-serve laundromat, and landmarks are just minutes away.
The staff are so nice. Fabrizio even remembered me from last year when I was on another Camino. What a treat to be remembered!!
The breakfast which you can include for a modest fee, is worth it. I absolutely love the location and my room is always comfortable. It’s very clean and I appreciate the mid-day tidy of my room. Just around the corner, you can find opera on certain nights of the week. It really is convenient. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the train station and super easy to find. I can’t say enough lovely things about Hotel Diana.

This is my favorite hotel in Lucca. The staff are very nice and the breakfast (you can add it to your stay), is excellent. They’ll make you a cappuccino! The location is lovely because it’s quiet yet so close to restaurants, Piazza San Michele and the wall (for walking). Absolutely adore this hotel.

Highly recommend! Staff were amazing and friendly. They went out their way to accomodate us. Breakfast was delicious with an assortment to choose from. Loved the juicer to make fresh orange juice!

Really loved this hotel. It seems unfair that places like this only get 2 stars due to amenities etc - the character and what's on offer should count for a lot more. Staff were so helpful - even going with my husband to park the car in the local cathedral car park. We were unable to check in as arrived early but I was able to sit in a small seated area in reception doing a bit of work - there was orange juice, water and snacks freely available - it was lovely. Large room with plenty of space and storage, comfortable big bed and it was nice and cool even without the aircon on. Hotel felt full of character - really enjoyed our stay there.
