SCAMS!!

THEY REQUESTED 200 EURO DEPOSIT FROM ME AT THE ENTRY (THEY SAID IT WAS WRITTEN ON BOOKING BUT IT WAS NOT WRITTEN ANYWHERE). They didn't accept cash and took the money from my card and gave me a voucher saying they were returning it on the way out. But the money was never refunded. I called the hotel, sent an e-mail, wrote a message, no answer. I have been dealing with the legal process for days. Beware this hostel and its receptionists are scammers!!!

Very poor service from reception and not able to use bar or pool for whole stay.

The room was clean and located well.

We were told when we arrived, that the pool was going through maintenance and not be used on the day we arrived. This was the same reason given every day for our 3 day stay. Also the bar could not be used either.

- you have to ask the receptionist for towels, even then you'll get just ONE for each person. (+ no bathroom rug/little carpet) - toilet doesn't flush!!! Just enough for flushing a little pee but NOTHING MORE!! :O - no hair dryer in the bathroom and also no electrical outlets if you want to plug your own. Also only 1 of 2 lights turns on. - microwave doesn't turn on anymore after using it for a few minutes, inesplicable.. - stove doesn't work, talked to the receptionist about it and she acknowledged that it is what it is and it's just not usable. - there's an electric heater but it's quite broken, it will take ages to heat up the pan, let alone boil water! Italians you can give up on your expectations of cooking pasta because it's just not gonna happen.. - the handle of the hot water in the kitchen's sink is blocked, so there's no way of having hot water. - lots of ants on a specific wall (??what business are they onto??) -tv doesn't seem to turn on. Not that I cared, but wanted to check anyway since everything else wasn't working. Wasn't surprised. Ps. We talked to the receptionist about the heater/stove problem and she was kind to call the maintenance for us, but we waited almost an hour and then had to go, so we didn't solve the issue.

We enjoyed our stay, but felt it was overpriced.

Fantastic location. Loved the swimming pool.

Ants were a bit of a problem. Would have liked a kettle.

Disappointed.

Very close to the beach. Located in the heart of the old town.

We had no towels for the first three days because laundry hadn’t come back, when we asked for the room to be made up, they just made up the beds, the floor was not swept or mopped. Barely any sockets in the room. No double beds in the facility at all- or so we were told by the staff. Beds were rickety and pillows were horrible to sleep on.

More like a 2 star hotel than an apartment. Unwillingness to give us a room key hindered our plans.

The room housed the necessary appliances. The location was great. The air conditioning worked well.

It shouldn't be sold as an 'apartment' - it's a budget hotel room with extra appliances. There was no area or room to relax and unwind. You could only watch tv if you were in bed, but you couldn't see the television as it was so small. On day 2 there were random squeaking sounds which lasted for hours - we think this may have been the pipes but we're not sure and couldn't stop the sound. Taking all of the above into account the main gripe was actually related to customer service. I was staying in the apartment with a friend and we booked a twin room. The reception refused to give us a key each. This greatly hindered our plans for the holiday and was unforgivable considering how much we paid for this accommodation.

too little for the crazy price of 180€ per night. More a hostel rather then a hotel.

the location and the receptionists were the only positive about this hotel.

they didn’t have my reservation when I arrived at 19 o’clock. had to wait for more than an hour when he called Lisbon to confirm it. Your advert says bar in the hotel but since the barman was not there I could get only beer. I also had to change room the second night because of the reservation problem. The “hotel” is old and the flush at the toilet did not work. I payed 360€ for 2 nights!

Depressing and last resort as Vrbo left us stranded with our children.

The bed linen was clean as were the rooms and bathroom

The apartment was in such poor run down conditions that it is need desperate need of total refurbishment. Damp patches in the rooms, dripping shower. The ceilings was full of holes and not filled in properly

Worst stay ever. Out of a horror movie.

The location and free parking.

There was nothing like the pictures. Falling to pieces. Mouldy. They tried to give us a room with 3 single beds when we paid extra to have a room and living room separate. The room next to us was extremely loud, screaming, loud music, smoking weed until 5 am and there was no one in the reception to be called at night. You arrive and have no indication where the reception is so I had to walk around the hotel for 15 minutes to find it. The bathroom shower was dripping all night. Awful.

Never again. Drop the price, price is ridiculous.

Location is good because is close to the shops.

First review i actually bother to do, because the price for the room is ridiculous.. The shower door was broken. Raw sewerage smell in the whole apartment. It was gross. Old itchy blankets. Uncomfortable beds. I slept better on the floor. Had 3 room keys in the room, only 1 worked. It's not worth the money, I'll never sgay there again.

Disappointing

Good location, friendly cleaning ladies.

The hotel is in the middle of a renovation. About five rooms - mine as well - had the AC unit removed, no warning about it in advance. See photo.

Great location but poorly maintained property

Fantastic location

Dated accomodstion badly needing updated. Ant issue. Sesgull nest at rooftop pool. Keycard kept needing fixed to work.

The location was great .

No later checkin than 8pm pool didn’t open till midday . quite dated front hall was a bad smell .
