Voor het eerst in Baskenland, en erg verrast door de hoge prijzen. Daarom voor dit hotel gekozen. De prijs was aanzienlijk lager, op redelijke afstand en de foto’s zagen er verzorgt uit.
Het zijn ook hele lieve mensen die er alles aan doen om het je zo aangenaam mogelijk te magen. Goed voorbereid met Google translate 👌🏼.
Ze verzorgen een gratis ontbijt, op z’n Spaans, maar ook daar is een broodje extra geen enkel probleem.
Wel moet men er rekening mee houden dat het een kamer zonder airco, maar met staande ventilator is.
Tevens zijn er in zowel San Sebastian als in Bilbao milieuzones. Ook al zou je auto erin mogen, had je hem eerst moeten aanmelden. Wij hebben niet het risico genomen en buiten die zone geparkeerd, wat overigens prima ging.
Ook voor een bezienswaardigheid als Gaztelugatxeko Doniene, moet je op voorhand online reserveren.

Charming hotel/guesthouse . Had definite boutique feel. My room was massive , and a beautifully comfortable bed made for an enjoyable nights rest. Light sleepers may not enjoy this hotel , but that aside well worth staying at .

Me gusto mucho su ubicacion en Zubieta, en un entorno rural y las vistas a la montaña, la amabilidad y atención de sus dueños, el desayuno de cortesía que ofrecen cada día.
La habitación estaba muy limpia y era muy còmoda.

Sitio muy tranquilo, anfitriones encantadores y atentos, desayuno de 10, lugar un poco apartado pero con encanto, la verdad es que disfrutamos el sitio
