our room was clean and comfortable. It was a little small, but given the building`s age. perfectly understandable. the location was excellent and close to everything we required. the owners and staff were very helpful and polite.
Coming from Australia, we were surprised at the lack of a small refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms but they were available elsewhere on site. We later found that no refrigerators in rooms is not an uncommon occurrence in Britain, probably due to climate.

The location can not be beaten. It's wonderful to explore major sites in London on foot. The shared bathrooms are very clean. Tea and coffee station is a welcome addition in the common room. The 24-hour reception is also a plus. The hotel is within an old building, the floor on the top floor is uneven. Please bear this in mind when booking. Overall a good stay.
