A quirky old hotel with fantastic staff, good food, lots of character and easy parking. My bed was very comfortable, as was the room. There is a big car park. Booking and check-in/check-out were easy.
My room faced quite a busy road and as the building is so old the window was not double glazed. Being unused to road noise, this woke me a couple of times. Fortunately the comfortable bed helped me get back to sleep quickly.

Lovely location with helpful staff. The restaurant for an evening meal was good and served tasty pub food.
Car parking was not great, we were there the night of a wedding and ended up parking on the street, perhaps having some lines for people to park between might increase capacity.
The breakfast was poor, the selection was good but what we received could have been better.
