Very friendly and flexible owner, we were extremely tired after our flights and could stay a bit later than the check out. You can park inside if you come with your car.

Spacious place with dining table and comfy chairs inside and an outside balcony area too. Room was clean and comfortable with AC and a fan to keep cool. And nice to have access to a fridge and kettle in the kitchen too. Staff were very helpful, even allowing me to move the WiFi router closer to my room to get a great connection. Just a short walk to the beach and shops and restaurants. Great value!
A fan in the living room would be a nice bonus!

Location: While it is on a quiet street surrounded by local residences, it's just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach.
Room: The rooms and the attached bathrooms as well as the common areas are modern and clean.
Ambiance: Unlike hostels etc which one would usually encounter at this price, the common areas are quiet and perfect if you are a digital nomad wanting to get some work done over your holiday
Ameneties: The Wifi in the common area is good. The place has a fridge and a full kitchen meant solely for guests.
Hosts: The host's family live adjacent to the property and are friendly and helpful
No hot water but I didn't find that to be much of an issue, especially in Sri Lankan weather.
Everything else was perfect.
