The hotel was in a beautiful location at the edge of Valdemossa . Beautiful views of the mountains It felt very Spanish

There was no water in the room which I found strange and breakfast wasn’t until 9 which I think was rather late

It was in a beautiful location and was very peaceful. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. We loved the animals (especially the goats)

For the price point, there should be a number of improvements. Firstly the towels and toiletries are what you would expect in the most budget of accommodation. Likewise a bathrobe would be nice when you are paying this much. To not even leave a bottle of water for guests when they get to their room is also very poor I think. There was nobody at reception over the first 2 days and they don't leave pool/beach towels for each guest so you have to specifically ask for them before you arrive. Overall the fixtures and fittings are OK but again, at this price point, they should be offering much better. The lady at breakfast (who was pretty much the only person we saw for the 4 days we were there) is lovely and works tirelessly but the breakfast offering is just a little bizarre. It is "served" between 9-11 am but if you don't get there first thing then you pretty much have to make do with whatever is left after everyone else has had a go. You are encouraged to sit in the dark inside seating area, yet there is a beautiful lawn area outside with seating and breathtaking views that could be utilised.
