Beautiful views from our room of the Setu inland Sea, the hotel has plenty to offer.
It’s worth paying extra for the club rooms for access to the G7 club. There is a courtesy bus to catch from Hiroshima station & return. We were very happy.

The views are stunning and this is what attracted me to the hotel. It is right on the coast which I had wanted. Stunning lobby entrance, a 24 hour honesty shop and another store was helpful for snacks and ice cream.
The Chinese restaurant à la carte was exceptional food.
Our room was advertised as a triple premier room, there was nothing premier about it. There was definitely not enough room for 3 people. We had no drawers what so ever for our clothes and barely any surface space for our belongings.
The bed was hard, the pillows are not supportive and made me wake up through the night. The bathroom is tiny and as the toilet and bath are in the same room again this doesn’t work for 3 people. The shower is just a hosed head above a bath and we had an old fashioned shower curtain not what I would expect when paying over £650 for 3 nights. Also when you sit on the toilet it is so small in there you can’t open the door. The door also was plasticky and there were no tiles, just sheets of cheap wood. We had a cracked light panel which was had been fixed with sellotape.
The buffet breakfast feels like a school canteen. He had to use plastic trays and plastic plates and even the glasses were plastic. Always queues. Staying it is a western breakfast on the floor is not true, there were some western elements but not always bacon on the menu, no fried or poached eggs option like we had at other hotels in Japan. Ring pieces of sliced bread, some patisseries but the same every morning. I would rate this the worst breakfast of all the hotels we stayed at - this was our 4th.
The buffet dinner wasn’t worth it and much of the food was cold or luke warm.
Little choice for my vegetarian daughter at this restaurant or the cafe in lobby, she literally had a choice of 1 or items. Very disappointing for a hotel of this level.
