Practical Stay at Crowne Plaza Amsterdam

My stay at Crowne Plaza Amsterdam was entirely satisfactory. Located in the heart of the business district, it's a solid choice for anyone on a work trip. Perfect hotel, very friendly and welcoming staff, quite location, clean rooms

Very friendly and welcoming staff, special thanks for Abishek at the reception, the rooms are very clean, good breakfast buffet, quite location, many high-end restaurants and some grocery shops nearby, 5 minutes walk from metro and train station, highly recommended, i will be staying here next time i come to the Netherlands.

Lack initiative

Relatively new build

No initiative. Put declared value of €50 when posting back left behind laundry. I have to pay import tax for old unwashed underwear! Really??

It was a very short stay-long transit- so I wouldn’t be able to judge, however, staff are so friendly.

The stay was due to an unexpected delay in air travel but the staff made the stay enjoyable.

We were stranded in Amsterdam due to weather related flight delays. The hotel was very accommodating to the many who were not expecting to be spending the night in town. The staff was warm and welcoming which helped with a long day of traveling and unexpected circumstances.

The air conditioning was not working well, but did work some.

Excellent, would recommend

Thank you to the whole staff who was very helpful and supportive during the week end crisis at Schiphol airport. Really appreciated that. Generally hotel is super comfortable, one train stop from the airport and 15min metro ride to the city center : very convenient.

Good staff and good size room.

The staffs were great. They gave us a high floor and always seem to be in great spirit. Good size room Good size bathroom

The leather chair in our room smells a bit musky. It ruins the cleanliness smell of the entire room. Also, it seems that the ac wasnt on or if it was on, the thermostat did not work properly.

Robert helped us a lot.

At the first night we had no air conditioning. We ask to fix it and it didn't work abd in 9 pm we had to move room. To a room with a problem in the shower. I expected better condition. Kathie from the reception was unplesent and accused us that we didn't use the air conditioning properly.

About 2km from old town , but great metro nearby, very little to do nearby some cafes and german restaurants , food in hotel much better

Clean, comfortable and very good breakfast. 3 minutes from Train , Metro and Tram. Staff all very pleasant and helpful.

Very professional service, exceptionally comfortable place to stay. The lounge was also great.

One of the windows only had a light shader and no thick curtain so the living room of the suite was full of light in the morning.

Comfy beds, great friendly staff and close to public transport

Very comfortable beds in a reasonably-sized room with all amenities you could need. The hotel is very close (a 3-minute walk) to the Amsterdam South train and metro station.

I was disappointed that the hotel had no pool, but did not check beforehand. Although my reservation confirmed breakfast for two, we were informed that only one was included in the booking and we had to pay for the second one.

The hotel is located in a modern new quarter in the south part of the Amsterdam. City center can easily be reached with the underground (10-15 min). Rooms are large and functional and the hotel is well suited for both businesses or tourism.

Thank you to the wonderful staff for creating a welcoming and fun environment.

The staff are fantastic! I enjoyed the outdoor seating, the snack shop, and the live events at the bar. The built-in shelves in the bathroom were much appreciated as this provided plenty of space for my products.

It was an excellent stay. I guess my only critique is that the food at happyhappyjoyjoy was good but not great.
