Friendly staff, walked to Charles Darwin Street

Large corner room with sea views and hooks plus several hangers, and hammock hooks. Nice size bathroom with 7 hooks. A/C worked well. Breakfast was cooked upon arrival and served restaurant style, not buffet. Staff friendly and helpful; ordered a taxi for a tour and we saved us some money. Reverse osmosis water system.

Would be nice is outlets were by the beds for charging. Stayed in room with 2 twin beds. One has bedside outlet, one did not.

Short enjoyable stay

The family that own the place are the loveliest people. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They really made the stay great for us! The location is good with only a 5 minutes walk to one of the main roads with restaurants and bars. In the other direction, you can reach the Charles Darwin Research Centre by foot. Rooms are basic but always thoroughly cleaned and with decent air conditioning (which was very much needed!!) It has everything you need for your stay in Puerto Ayora especially since you won’t be spending too much time in the room itself. Breakfast was included and while this was also basic (fruit, eggs and bread) it was enough to fill you and always tasty. This is served by the pool area which was also kept clean and was normally quite quiet. Great spot for an afternoon dip to cool down!

La ubicación, el desayuno y el acceso a agua bebible

El olor de la habitación, mucha humedad, toda la ropa se contagia del olor. La cama de 3 plazas se puede acceder por un solo lado, no apta para personas con discapacidad. Un solo mueble como mesa de noche. Ni una sola silla donde sentarse

Ok to stay for one or more nights if you are lucky with the room and your expectations on breakfast or pool are not high

The second room (#7) we had booked had good air quality and it was spacy. Thus, we all could sleep in one room. The neigbourhood was nice and the staff at reception were friendly. During the night it was very silent and easy to sleep.

We had booked 2 rooms for our family. One of the rooms was stinky and A/C was very uneffective. We could not sleep there - still the refund was only 20 dollars. The second room was ok, however one of the matresses was really at the end of its lifecycle. The breakfast personnel were a bit grumpy and there was no possibility to choose options at breakfast or ask for more if you liked something. There were no pool towels and the pool was only partly filled.

Bom custo benefício.

A localização é bom, fica a 5 min da rua principal. O quarto que ficamos foi bem bom, mas haviam alguns modelos menores. Lembrando que tudo é de escada, então para quem tiver problema de mobilidade pode ser uma questão.

O café da manhã foi bemmm inferior ao que esperávamos. Vimos de Mindo para Galápagos e achamos que esse ponto deixou muito a desejar, e os funcionário do café da manhã não eram muito simpáticos.

Good value for money!

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Although we didn't get the room we booked, they made sure everything goes well and we are satisfied. Location and price are not bad, considering the insane Galápagos prices.

A few cockroaches were seen but it's ok, happens, and everything is very loud since the early morning so you'll probably get woken up at 6am

Staff was very nice and helpful.

Beds were uncomfortable and the rooms were very loud. There’s a gym Nextdoor that blasts music until around midnight several days a week so bring earplugs. The Wi-Fi really didn’t work except by the pool (which was kinda dirty and uninviting).

Nice spot to stay

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was nice and the rooms were well provisioned. It was a short walk to the centre so in a quiet spot, which was nice too.

Quaint with an excellent chill vibe.

The location was about a 15 minute walk to the harbor, less to shops and restaurants. We liked being a bit removed and everyone we passed everywhere was very friendly and smiling. The breakfast was fresh juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, rolls, and fresh fruit. It was delicious! The room was very clean and welcoming. We didn’t have an issue with Wi-Fi at all. It was slow but stable. The staff were all very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, we didn’t speak much Spanish and the staff didn’t speak much English, but we made it work and mostly were all smiles at each other. The big fridge downstairs was available if you had leftovers.

So the Galapagos is water culture and there weren’t enough hooks or racks or whatever needed for two people to hang towels, bathing suits, wet clothes in general. I also did my own laundry in the sink most days adding to the problem - lol.

The hotel is as advertised on booking. It is a backpacker with very affordable prices, clean and with the minimum you can expect from a decent place. It’s not a 5 stars hotel but it has all you need. The breakfast was ok, by the swimming pool.

Everything was as expected. Nothing more nothing less.

Breakfast by the pool was nice and available early in the morning. Room was big and comfy, pure water available and staff nice. Would go again. Location good, only five minutes walk away from the center, and still quiet hotel.

Coffee could have been stronger to wake you up :)
