Very pleasant stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was genuinely nice to be in. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was quite spacious. The staff was very friendly. Food at the restaurant was good. Especially the breakfast was great. We loved the waffle station.

Superb

Very nice Polish-speaking staff, good breakfast with excellent waffles, clean and spacious room, close to the hot pools.

Nothing really :) could be cheaper but well that's Iceland ;)

Location near Dynjandi Waterfall

Breakfast is basic but delicious. Waffle machine is available. Location wise- short drive to Dyjandi waterfall. Very near free hotspring Hellulaug, we went at sunrise and had the pool to ourselves!

Excellent, comfortable hotel - ideal location in the Westfjords. Staff were wonderful!

Complimentary breakfast was simple but excellent, lots of choices and very fresh. Dinners were pricey but delicious.

Nice rooms, good beds and very spacious bathroom. Restaurant with great views, decent breakfast. Very kind owners, managers and working staff, we arrived late after restaurant closed, they still served us sou and bread. Would highly recommend this place.

Very good

Nice room, very large, modern and the beds were comfortable. The location is great for people traveling on the ferry and visiting the Dynjandi waterfall. There is a restaurant onsite but since they were quite busy, we decided to only order soup so cannot comment on the lunch/dinner menu. Breakfast menu was good with plenty of options.

Even though the room was very large and had plenty of space, there wasn't a mirror accept in the bathroom. It is nice to have a second mirror so two people can get ready to go out. Also, a refrigerator would be nice for those people traveling with food. Prices may have increased recently because although the amenities and location are great, you do pay for them. This hotel was one of the more expensive ones that we stayed in during our 10 day stay.

Location next to the waterfront Very close to the ferry port Bedrooms were excellent Staff very friendly An on-site petrol pump was a great asset and one we used a couple of times

Highly recommend staying here during your visit to the West Fjords!

We loved our 2-night stay at this hotel. Our room was very big; plenty of space for my husband, daughter and me. It appeared to have been recently updated. We had dinner both nights at their on-site restaurant and it was good. Breakfast was great as well! Views were amazing and staff was very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again when visiting the West Fjords!

We will return and use as our base

The staff was exceptional: the young women who do the service in the restaurant, Begga who shared all the tips on the area and beyond (she is a certified tour guide), Soffia (the owner) who was very welcoming and made sure everything ran well. We stayed only for one night, but returned twice more for dinner and breakfast from adjacent properties that were not so hospitable. They recommended fabulous hikes and hot pots and made our stay truly special. Recommend using this hotel as your base for all the surrounding attractions.

The rooms, which is big, needs a little more shelving/closet space.
