I've been to Iceland 4 times since 2018 and this property is by far my favorite. It had everything we could ever hope to see in Iceland, horses, sheep, lake, sunset, mountain view, isolation and at the same time only 10 minutes drive into Stykkisholmur town, and most of all a private church which this same family (owner) kept since 1818. Our host cleaned the church on Sunday morning for us so we could have a private Sunday worship there. There is also a small hill/mountain behind the property which we can climb to see the horizon and the view was simply AMAZING... Host was just wonderful and her kids and the best dog, Molly was extra bonus ! We loved this place and will be coming back again for sure. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality.

Excepcionalmente limpio, cómodo y tenía de todo tanto de menaje como de alimentos, arroz, salsas, condimentos
Solo nos dieron una toalla de baño por persona, deberían haber añadido una toalla de lavabo por persona

Serene location. Quiet, great view of the mountains. Horses and sheep entertained us, and the walk up Helgafell itself -short and relatively easy - led to a great view of the fjord and surrounding area behind the guesthouse.
Guesthouse was spacious and well equipped.
Nothing that Johanna can control (like the weather and the road construction into Stykkyshòlmur).
