Check-in was v easy via a code. The room was spacious and comfortable.
The staff are kind and helpful. Delicious banana bread served freshly each evening by Adam and an excellent cauliflower soup made by Mona.
The buffet breakfast each morning had a good variety of choice.

Price, location, and wall paintings

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Towels and toiletries were nice. Breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly and efficient.
Check-in was a complete disaster. The code previously sent to me to access the outer door and room door simply didn’t work. As a result, I was unable to enter the building. After spending some time wandering around the building (in the pouring rain) to make sure we were in fact in the correct place, I finally called the emergency number shown in a sticker on the door.
After confirming that I was using the correct code and it still wasn’t working, the hotel representative provided me with a new code that also wouldn’t work. She finally had to open the door remotely so that we could enter the building. I was then able to open the room door using the updated code. The entire process from arriving at the hotel until entering the room took 30 minutes.
The hot water in the room was also problematic. The shower would intermittently go from warm to cold, so that half of the time there was only cold water. The water from the sink faucet had two temperatures: cold and less cold.
