Great location. We took the Aerobus from the airport to Placa de Catalunya. The bus had plenty of room for luggage and was cheap and convenient. The hotel was easily walkable ( 5 -10 minutes with large luggage) from the bus stop at Place de Catalunya. The room was clean and fairly good size. The wifi was good. As I said before, the hotel is in a great location. You can easily walk to Gothic quarter, El Born, La Rambla, Block of Discord, and to the explore the city.
The lobby of the hotel is on the second floor and the elevator is small and slow. There is no attendant at the front desk all the time, although they are reachable by phone and they respond quickly when you call them.

The hostel is located in a very central location, and less than a 10 minute walk to the main plaza.
They were kind enough to let me check in early and leave my luggage.
It’s deemed to be a ‘boutique hotel’, although it is not quite a hotel. In fact, when you arrive there instead of saying hotel, it actually says the word ‘hostel’ on it which is more accurate.
The room was actually quite bare with just a bed and a small table, as well as a mini fridge and coffee machine. Although it had a balcony, it had not been well-maintained, and the seating was quite dirty.
There is no kitchenette, just a main lobby with a shared microwave and kettle and cutlery.
Because it is such a small venue, it can be very loud within, and the walls are very thin.
Also, it is located at a main intersection with noise all day and all night long.
The staff member was there upon my arrival however, when asked about checking out the following morning, the staff member present actually said that the staff are known to come in late and therefore they might not be available in the morning when I needed to check out. I found this to be very offputting.
