Fantastisch rustig, mooie ruime kamer, groot zwembad. Mijn fiets was stuk en de gastheer heeft die HELEMAAL in orde gekregen zodat we volgende dag onze fietsvakantie konden verder zetten. Echt ongelofelijke gastheer en gastvrouw !!!!

This was an overnight stay on our bike trip down the Canal du Midi. Thank goodness for the pool which helped cool us off after a hot day cycling. Our hosts, Sandrine and Alex, really went out of their way to make it easy for us. Sandrine made a great dinner that evening and we enjoyed our chats with her. Breakfast had all you’d need to get you going for a big, and hot, day of cycling. Highly recommended.

We had a mixed experience during our stay at Aux Belles Vacances.
On the positive side, the setting is peaceful, and the pool is a lovely place to relax. The room was decent, and we paid an extra €25 on arrival to upgrade to a larger one, which was worth it for the extra space. Breakfast was continental, with nice jams and a simple selection—different to what we’re used to, but enjoyable.
Getting around without a car is challenging. The village is quiet and somewhat isolated. We did manage to take the local bus to Carcassonne twice for just €1, which was great, but services are limited. Ubers charge €25 or more for the short 6-minute journey to the airport, and while the host offers the same rate, we felt it was a bit excessive considering we were paying guests. A reduced rate for airport transfers would have been appreciated.
Overall, it's a peaceful place to stay if you’re looking to unwind, but travel costs and logistics can add up quickly if you're not driving.
