Nice, modern rooms

The room was comfortable and the facilities were satisfactory.
I was disappointed by several aspects of my stay. First of all, the carpet in my room had large, clearly visible stains that looked as though they had been there for a long time. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for a hotel of this category.
I also encountered an issue with the 20% discount on food and drinks, which was clearly advertised as one of the benefits included in my reservation and was even mentioned in the name of the room I had booked.
When I placed my first room service order, despite explaining the situation and showing the staff member the details of my reservation, I kept receiving phone calls approximately every ten minutes asking me to pay. I had clearly explained that I wanted the bill charged to my room and that I would settle it at reception after my meal. The situation became particularly unpleasant when a member of the reception staff came directly to my room, preventing me from enjoying my meal in peace.
After checking the details, the reception staff eventually acknowledged that I was right and issued a new bill with the 20% discount applied. However, no apology was offered.
I find it unacceptable to have to insist on receiving a benefit that was clearly included in my booking, especially when I was made to feel uncomfortable over an error that was not mine. Between the lack of cleanliness and the poor handling of the situation by the staff, my overall experience unfortunately fell short of my expectations.
