Lovely breakfast each morning in the garden, and a complimentary welcome drink in the garden as well! The location is wonderful, just steps from several beaches/the old and new ports/old town, and a grocery store and lots of eateries just a couple doors down. The shopping center is about a 5 minute walk away as well! Plus they had air conditioning!

This was a fantastic place, I cannot fault anything. The staff were all so lovely, the breakfast was perfect and was served in the garden, as was our apartment. The hotel is a 3 minute walk down to the public beach where you can hire very inexpensive loungers and umbrellas. Lots of restaurants around, for food and drink.
We walked to Old Town in 5 minutes and the same amount of time to the train station to and from the hotel. I would definitely stay at Alexander Hotel again.

Excellent location for town centre and water front. Breakfast was served outside but was fine because weather was lovely. the two ladies on Reception were very helpful on arrival with the parking space and drinks from the bar. Addition of Washing machine and Tumble dryer was a great touch.

Room was comfortable, bit on the bland / austere side, Shower worked well. Very welcome after a long drive. Location was very central, near loads of restaurants. Buffet breakfast was very good served outside.
Although we had reserved secure parking we had to ( with a nice member of staff) go around the block to look for a space. I was puzzled at this as there was only one car in the parking area ( it takes 6, just). We eventually parked in a space near the hotel. Not good after a 6 hour drive. When leaving the next morning we were taken back to the car by a male member of staff who did not offer to help my wife ( 68) with her bags. Not a big deal but an offer would have been nice.
