Have stayed here many times now on our way from Switzerland to our place in Andalucia. It’s a nice hotel with friendly staff and its pet friendly.Perched on a hillside above the town with panoramic views.
The hotel is clean and the building is nice especially the older parts. However it’s in need of refurbishment in places, especially some of the bedrooms. They are very dated now and really need upgrading and updating. Especially the bathrooms.

The room was wonderful and had an amazing private roof terrace. All the staff just lovely and it was the perfect setting for us some well needed downtime following a hectic family wedding. Beautiful views and a short walk (downhill) to the beach.
Excellent all round. However, on booking, request a room in the older part of the hotel that has charm and character otherwise the rooms are like conference hotel rooms and very non descript.

Comfortable room, great and very friendly staff. Enjoyed the terrace bar and restaurant and beautiful grounds.
No tea or coffee facilities in the room, which I would absolutely expect in a 4 star hotel. No iron or ironing board for clothes.

The hotel is really outdated and needs major renovations. We selected it for the spa (that was unfortunately closed) and the calmness…BUT we were awakened every morning by the staff (housekeepers) that were very loud and even knocked on our door even though we had the « do not disturb » tag on the doorknob. Unacceptable. Paper thin walls…You could literally hear the neighbors’ conversation. The parking is a plus.
