Good location for passing through Aviemore. De luxe room was very comfortable and well equipped. Good breakfast
Big hotel and looking a little tired. Service at dinner was a bit dilatory despite the restaurant being half empty

Food in restaurant good .Rooms clean .Staff happy.
Used the bar area by the restaurant but apparently main bar was downstairs ,staff had to keep going downstairs to fetch drinks and find payment card reader .

A great location in pretty surroundings.
Breakfast was basic, but ok. Not much variety to be honest and after a few days it was boring.

The log cabins were nice but very expensive.
Its a weird place that has obviously seen better days. Its a huge resort campus but it felt like a ghost town even on a bank holiday weekend. I was expecting a much more active resort but there wasn't much on offer besides the pool. We stayed in a log cabin for 2 nights and the hotel for 1 night. The log cabin was a lovely escape and I don't have any complaints about that but the hotel is sorely lacking. The whole place had an air of depression hanging over it. It has a lot of potential but it needs some refurbishment and more of a active resort vibe.
