The staff could not do enough; very friendly and the room was clean and tidy.
Facilities could be modernised, and bed was quite squeaky. But comfortable.
Breakfast sausages and eggs were of poor quality and lacked real flavour. Croissants were the cheap long-lasting kind. Fine for my 7 year old. But you can get lovely cook from frozen ones nowadays which are cost effective and can be a good option. Like I say the service was great and the staff were generous in portions of toast etc...

The breakfast was completely adequate. The property changed hands after the first day. The new people started to put their stamp on it the first day. They had had a very stressful day beforehand but coped admirably with the change. They should make a success of the business.
Showering facilities a bit tight.

Excellent hosts, went above and beyond to look after us. Stayed up as we arrived very late and sorted parking for us. Breakfast and staff were great. Very attentive.

The location was good and it was clean.
The rooms were very old fashioned including the furniture.the washbasin was outside the toilet in the room.tv screen was really tiny and the bunk bed made lot of noise.No iron in the room.
We were a big group and took 3 rooms.They made us sit on our room specific tables and there was no flexibility to sit together on breakfast.Also the breakfast timing was very specific.Usually there is a window of at least 2 hours but this is the first hotel where we were told to have breakfast at a specific time like 9.30 am.
