We honestly couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay at Calm Sea Guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, Mel and Trish made us feel so welcome.
Our room was lovely, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the location is perfect — just a short walk from the seafront and beach.
We really appreciated all the little thoughtful touches, including the games and treats left in the room for our son. It was such a lovely surprise and made us feel really welcome as a family.
Breakfast was great too, with lots of choice and everything freshly cooked. Our son particularly enjoyed the pancakes! 🥞
We also really appreciated Mel and Trish’s local knowledge and recommendations. They were always happy to suggest places to eat and things to do, and their tips helped us make the most of our stay.
Both Mel and Trish were so friendly and welcoming throughout, and it’s all those little touches that made our stay feel so relaxed and enjoyable.
We’ve had a lovely time at Calm Sea and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Weymouth. We’d happily stay again!

The amazing friendly owners Trish and Mel, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We also arrived in time for a parking permit, which was a huge bonus to our stay. The location was perfect, without being in a noisy spot. Weather was hot so the fan in our room to use was welcomed. Breakfast was delicious and well presented. Nothing was too much trouble.
