The breakfast was as good as other reviews had suggested, ie excellent, with thick bacon and the option to choose from eggs cooked three different ways. The location is excellent, only a short walk from the station but just far away from the centre for it to be a bit quieter. The traffic died down later in the evening and although it did pick up quite early in the morning it wasn't a problem. The window seat is a nice feature and the room is a decent size with plenty of storage. There is an en suite shower room. All the light fittings worked. Nick and Caroline are friendly and efficient and would have been able to provide advice about the local area if asked.
The shower room was compact but perfectly serviceable.
