The hotel itself is nice - the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor pool area is great. However, the indoor pool and sauna area definitely need refurbishment and feel quite dated compared with what you would expect at this price point.
The biggest disappointment for us was how unfriendly the hotel felt towards families with small children. If you’re looking for a very quiet hotel mainly catering to older guests, this might be perfect. But if you’re travelling with young kids, I would honestly look elsewhere.
We were very welcome when it came to taking our booking and payment, but once we were there, we often felt that having small children around was somehow an inconvenience. For a hotel in this price category, I expected a much warmer and more family-friendly attitude.
One other strange thing: we paid roughly the same amount for two people as our friends did for five. This may have been related to Booking.com pricing rather than the hotel itself, so I don’t necessarily blame the hotel for it, but it added to an already strange experience.

Fantastic hotel, staff very helpful. Gave great advice on using the free tourist travel pass, used it on the bus, train and cable car. The food was excellent 👌 catered for everyone. Had indoor and outdoor pool which we used. Highly recommend and we are hoping to return next year

The breakfast was exceptional. Staff was wonderful. We especially enjoyed meeting Katie and Sophie. The dinner was fabulous also, but it’s a lot of food. The location was fantastic and the hotel could not have been more accommodating. They sent a free taxi to pick us up at the local train station. They also provided a bus pass to get up and down the mountain. We did not have a car. We traveled by train from Venice and did not have an issue.
The spa area needs updating! The pool was green and the hot tub was cold. Also, the mountain air is extremely dry. It would be nice if they would provide lotion in the rooms.
