We received an unexpected upgrade to a house at Ashalim. My family only used two of the bedrooms, though it could house at least a dozen people comfortably. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and the neighborhood is very peaceful.

Well equipped property, can easily sleep 8 people and even 10 squeezed together. Well equipped for cooking, games for kids, etc.
Nice balcony to hang out in.
The property is extremely good value for the region and Israel in general. There are camp sites nearby which charge more per night.
Sde Boker is a good base for visiting the Negev.
It’s not super well maintained. There’s some exposed electrical wires, construction debris lying around etc. Some extra finishing touches would do wonders for the place.

it is new and the location is very good.
as it is new it is still a little under equipped and there is still building rubble around. the dining chairs were very unstable

The flat was large with 2 toilets. The internet and television were both very good. There was enough amenities, towels, toilet paper, dishes... There is off street parking, and the neighborhood is quiet.
The flat was remote, there was no restaurants or stores within 10km.
