Our renovated private ecoGreen space in Historic District, minutes away from the beach and free parking which is uniquely for San Fran is perfect place for your San Francisco stay! The space is located in the safe and quiet Sunset/Parkside area of San Francisco. We're only a short 2 block walk to the L Taraval MUNI line, which will have you exploring downtown and the heart of the city in less than 20 minutes. The 31st Avenue tract, where the apartment is located, is significant as an example of master builder Claude T. Lindsay’s Mediterranean Revival development in the Sunset District. The completely renovated contemporary European style unit with COMPARATIVE BUDGETARY approach features: - A private entrance - 600ft² (56m²) of fully furnished living space with hardwood floors - Queen bed with a super comfortable mattress for a couple - A futon that can sleep another couple (Not that comfortable for 2 heterosexual teenagers. Ask host for a solution.) - Free WiFi - Flat screen TV with Comcast and premium channels - Modern kitchen - Modern bathroom with heated flooring - Hair dryer - Emergency supplies - Linens, toiletries, and kitchen utensils are provided for your comfort and convenience - Private access to the backyard - Plenty of FREE street parking - Short walk to public transportation - 2 blocks to the L Taraval MUNI line, which will take you downtown to Union Square, shopping, and restaurants, or to the SF Zoo and Ocean Beach, where you can go surfing, or take a quiet stroll along the coast to the famous Cliff House and Beach Chalet restaurant, where you can dine while watching the sunset; 1 block to the 48 Quintara bus, which will take you to the Mission/Potrero Hill or to the Great Hwy/Ocean Beach - Walking distance to Golden Gate Park, the beach, and authentic Taraval St. restaurants and coffee shops - We are close to Lake Merced/Harding Park Golf Course - 24/7 access to 7-Eleven and Safeway just a few blocks away - 20 min. drive to/from SFO, easy access to 280 and 101 freeways Interaction with Guests: We respect our guests' privacy. Our rental space is on a different level and has a separate private entrance. There will be no interaction, unless requested by the guests. Getting around: Get to our place from SFO airport by taxi: - It is about a $45 cab ride from SFO. - We advise download two applications on your smartphone: 1. “Uber” 2. “Lyft” Prices for both applications are 20 to 40 percent cheaper than a cab. Get to our place from SFO airport by public transport: - At SFO airport take BART inbound direction, heading to San Francisco downtown. Get out from the BART on “Civic Center” station. On Civic Center station, change BART to MUNI and take “L” line outbound direction, heading to SF Zoo. Get out from the MUNI tram on “30 Ave & Taraval”. From there just two short blocks to our house. House Rules: - Guests are expected to respect property and treat it like their home. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am - Parents with children and infants are responsible for their safety - Early check-ins and late check-outs will happily be accepted if at all possible. Back to back rentals may make early/late check-ins/outs impossible - DO NOT PARK car on the driveway permanently or OVERNIGHT - No unexpected early check-in or late check-out - No smoking - No smoking marijuana and/or it possession on premises in any legal or illegal products - No cannabis of any king for medical or recreational use - No drugs of any kind - No pets - No parties - No disturbances are made to neighbors and surrounding neighborhood. As this is a wood frame building, no loud noise allowed - Photo ID required for check-in - No overnight guests who are not on your reservation - Every 2nd and 4th Monday and Thursday of the month there is street cleaning in the early morning on the surrounding blocks. Please check street signs carefully while parking your car to avoid receiving a street cleaning ticket - In the unlikely event that guests cause damage to the apartment or furnishings, or do anything that requires excessive cleaning, we reserve the right to use the security deposit for additional cleaning or repair - Guest Refund Policy: If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded We'll be more than happy to answer any questions and help you plan your perfect San Francisco stay! I had a great stay at Alex and Lina's place. It was in a great neighborhood, just a short drive to the beach. It was a perfect mix of getting schoolwork done and some zen time at the beach. Alex was very friendly and greeted me at the door. It was raining my weekend there, but they also had umbrellas available! Something I wouldn't have thought of packing, which allowed me to venture off for a rainy walk near the ocean one evening. Thank you both, and if I need a place to stay while I'm at school, I will see if your place is available! Thanks again!

From the initial message until the checkout, the communication was superb and all expectations for making the best of my stay were clear! If I needed anything, they quickly addressed my request. Alex was so kind and I will certainly choose this rental whenever I am in the area.

Alex is so personal and friendly. He knew we were visiting with our 11 month old baby so he called me prior to the trip and ensured my baby sleeping accommodation is secured before we flew over there.
The place is neat and clean, and the area that we stayed in is super safe and convenient! It is only 15 drive to golden gate bridge and 20 minutes drive to the Pier. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back and stay there when we visit San Fran in the future!

We loved our stay here. It is clean, cozy, and the hosts are so communicative. The Outer Sunset area is beautiful and quiet, and there is ample street parking, the L, 48 and 66 buses close by for getting into the city, and the beach is about a 10 minute walk down the hill. Highly recommend for a quiet stay in SF with close public transportation and good parking!

Very modern and clean apartment, well positioned for day trips to downtown with easy transport links. Owner available but privacy respected. Standards are maintained by the ‘no animals’ and ‘no smoking’ policies which we like. We would definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed our two night stay at Alex & Lina's ground floor flat in SF, near the ocean. The kitchen is a modern European-style kitchen, that is nicely stocked with essentials and a large refrigerator. The entire flat is nicely renovated and sparkling clean. Bring your own inside slippers, since shoes are not allowed inside. We'd love to return.

We had a great stay and this apartment was a perfect landing spot between our adventures! It was a perfect fit for a family of 4 and the outside patio is a great addition. We lucked out with fantastic weather so we spent most of our time out sightseeing. Close to the beach and Golden Gate Park. Thank you, Alex and Lina!

The owners were attentive throughout check-in. They have a whiteboard in the garage if we had any questions. Beautiful & safe neighborhood & easy parking. I would stay here again!

The host is very responsive and met us as promised, and made our check-in very easy. Let me start with the positive aspects which are this home is in a great location and was very clean. The negative aspects were that upon arrival you are asked to remove your shoes (I get it) and slide your feet into a pair of slippers that of course have been worn by all prior guests. Bring your own or bring socks:) All of the lights are on timers so if you’re in a room and not actively moving, the lights go out. There are no night lights and the transition from the bedroom to the bathroom in the middle of the night required me to turn on a light. One could hear the host living upstairs which means obviously the host could hear the guests downstairs. We were quiet - I happen to have good hearing (my spouse does not) so he was able to sleep all night. So if you’re a light sleeper- bring earplugs. The NEST thermostat is “locked” and they do provide extra blankets. If you’re planning on working it’s a great place to hang- I wouldn’t recommend it for young children though. Parking is ample although an SUV may struggle in the short spaces on the street.

My experience with Lina & Alex from the start has been excellent. They are a lovely couple with a nice, clean and comfortable suite.
The suite had literally everything we needed. From a full sized fridge, stove, all the kitchenware etc to shampoo, conditioner, lotions, blow dryer etc. My mind was blown at how much they care about making sure we had everything we needed.
The communication with them was excellent. They answered all questions that I had prior to our visit.
There are plenty or restaurants and grocery stores just a walk away. Uphill and downhill.
The suite is approx 17 blocks away from the ocean (down hill). We walked down one evening then along the beach for several blocks before stopping to eat on our way back and then catching an Uber back to the suite.
The suite has a cute little backyard space with a table, chairs and a BBQ for our use but the weather didn’t cooperate with us to be able to use it.
I was a little concerned that they had asked us to leave our shoes outside and to use the slippers that they provided for us. I imagined leaving them having to be left outside to get wet.
When you get to the property, you enter in through a door into the garage and the suite door is off of that. So our shoes were safe and dry inside of the garage, not outside in the elements that I had imagined them to be.
I would highly recommend this suite and we will stay again on future trips to San Francisco.

The host was very accommodating, and easily reached when I had questions.
The apartment has a comfortable bedroom with a fabulous desk, but the room could use some furniture for stashing clothes.
There is a great kitchen with a huge refrigerator, powerful microwave & ample counter, but the dining area could use an ordinary table and a couple of chairs.
I appreciated the recycling opportunities, including being able to collect food scraps for composting. The refuse bin is in front of the house. It couldn't be easier.
For those not familiar with California conservation efforts, be prepared to wave your arms when sitting still for more than 5 minutes or so, or the lights in the room will go out.

Had a great stay here. The hosts are responsive and accommodating. The unit is the downstairs of a typical San Francisco classic townhome. Quiet neighborhood. Nice back patio. The interior is impeccably clean and orderly - better than some 5-star hotels. Very high-end furnishings. Easy to find street parking within a 1 block radius.

I had stayed here previously and have been trying to get back to this property. It is clean, quiet, and equipped for your stay. This time I spent 12 nights there- it is close to public transportation, nice walking area with both hilly and less hilly options. The place is well equipped.
The hosts are warm and inviting also responsive to any questions about their place or the area.
I have now enjoyed my stay there twice!

Thank you Alex and Lina! We are so happy we have found you and stayed in your super comfy and modern apartment. We loved to be near the beach and to the Golden Gate park so we could go walking and running in the morning. It had everything we neeed to cook some meals at home and to have a good night rest after busy days of sighseeing and surfing! Hope to be back soon as we loved San Francisco and we could not see so many things.!
